We are pleased to announce that preparations are underway for the 7th annual Aging Well Month…Engaging, Learning and Serving.  During the month of May, which is also Older Americans Month, there will be a series of programs and events that are relevant, informative and helpful for older adults in our communities to age well.  These programs are hosted by community organizations and businesses with an interest in the health and well-being of older adults.  All programs are free of charge.

programLook for the calendar of events in your local newspaper on Thursday, April 18th or pick one up at Aging Care Connections, 111 W. Harris Ave, La Grange.

In addition to the outstanding programs and activities that will take place during Aging Well Month, we will also be honoring older adults who volunteer in our community through the Community GEMs (Going the Extra Mile) Volunteer Recognition Program. All nominees will be honored at a luncheon on May 1st at the La Grange Country Club.  Click here to view the photos from the AWM Kick-off & Community GEM luncheon.
